Accessibility arrangements at the Ted Arison Family Foundation

The Ted Arison Family Foundation (Israel) Public Benefit Corporation Ltd. ("the Company") makes every effort and invests substantial resources in providing every person who contacts it with equal, dignified, accessible, and professional service. In accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the regulations enacted under it, significant effort and resources are invested in making the accessibility adjustments needed to enable a person with a disability to contact the Company independently and equally.

Accessible customer service

  • Staff training for accessible service - training is conducted to familiarize staff with the field of accessibility, raise awareness, and provide practical tools for delivering accessible service.
  • Accessible call center - the voice response system has been made accessible so that information is conveyed in clear language without background music.

Website accessibility

An accessible website is one that allows people with disabilities and older adults to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as other users. Approximately 20 to 25 percent of the population experiences difficulty using the internet and may benefit from more accessible web content, according to a study conducted in 2003 by Microsoft. The Company believes in and works toward equal opportunity in the digital space for people with diverse disabilities and people who use assistive technology to operate a computer.

Information about the website’s accessibility

  • This website complies with the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
  • The accessibility adjustments were carried out in accordance with the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for accessible web content at the AA level and the international WCAG 2.0 document.
  • Tests were carried out for the highest level of compatibility with the Chrome browser.
