As the third generation to steer forward the Arison family’s legacy of generosity and giving, it is my honor to continue in the footsteps of my grandfather, the late Ted Arison, and my mother, Shari Arison. They established the foundation together, out of an inner edict of giving back to the community.
I believe that by being attentive to the needs of the society, The Ted Arison Family Foundation realizes its vision to create a better human environment based on fundamental human values.
The foundation’s mission is to invest in upgrading the quality of life and transforming the human environment, through three core Jewish values: Tzedakah (charity and responsibility), Tikkun Olam (Transforming the world), and Chessed (acts of loving-kindness).
The foundation supports and makes contributions through social investments in the spheres of Education, Culture, Art, and Sports, Children and Youth, Populations in Distress, Disabilities and Special Needs, and Health. Our philanthropic activities express three key layers that together embody the essence of giving, and the practical application of Doing Good for the benefit of the community, society, and the country:The foundation’s strategy – long-term support through leading organizations that create impact.The business layer – Project feasibility, its effect, scope, achievements and goals, social yield, sustainability, innovation, and leadership.The human layer – quality and value – Empathy, containment, equality, attentiveness, tolerance, inclusion, and in practicality – love for mankind.
Since it began its operations in Israel in 1993, The Ted Arison Family Foundation has supported 1,800 organizations and nonprofits, with contributions totaling $522 million (NIS 2 billion).
In the act of giving, with which I have been privileged and for which I hold the profound feeling of responsibility and commitment, I aspire and actively engage in creating meaningful positive social change.
