A Family Legacy of Giving
The Foundation was established in Miami in 1981 by the late Ted Arison and his daughter, Shari Arison, out of a philanthropic approach and a shared belief that one must give back to the community in which they live - a belief Ted captured in his words: "Where you live and earn, you must also give back.".
A longstanding tradition of leading positive change in Israel and the world
Today, Jason Arison - third generation of the family's philanthropic tradition - is Chairman of the Foundation, with all family members on the Board and actively engaged in its work.
"For me, giving is a privilege - a gift I was blessed with not by chance, but with a purpose: to share it with others, so that together we can create a better world," says Shari Arison.
"Giving is part of my soul, and it's this great privilege I try to pass forward - through my family and those around me, through my various business activities, and through the philanthropic work of the Ted Arison Family Foundation," adds Arison.
Today, under Jason Arison's leadership, the longstanding tradition of leading positive change in Israel and the world continues. "In the practice of giving - a privilege I carry with deep commitment - I aspire to create meaningful social change," says Jason Arison.

The Arison Campus of the Arts, Tel Aviv
The Arison Campus of the Arts, founded in Tel Aviv in 1983, is a unique educational institution for young talent in music, dance, drama, and fine arts. Shari Arison initiated its founding and partnered with the Tel Aviv Foundation to build a new campus - spanning a new building, offices, and auditorium - which opened in 2000. The Arison family's love of art shaped the project from start to finish. Shari's vision was clear: "This will be a different school, with unique tools dedicated to the arts." (Foundation grant, 1999)

The Arison School of Business, Reichman University
The Ted Arison Family Foundation donated the Arison School of Business building at Reichman University. The institution places emphasis on excellence in research and teaching, alongside social responsibility and building academic bridges between Israel and the world. From Ted Arison's keynote at the opening of the Arison School of Business: "When I'm asked how I made my money - a sum larger than I can count - I always say it's my secret. But since this place carries my name, I'm willing to share that secret with students: the secret, in one word, is excellence. If you do something in your life that is less than excellent, you won't get very far. Whatever you do, do it with excellence." (Foundation grants, 1998 and 2006)
