Matan - Investing in the Community

Shari Arison introduced the United Way model to Israel -United Way- a framework that connects businesses with communities through corporate giving, volunteering, and social responsibility - transforming the culture of corporate giving in Israel. This is how Matan - Investing in the Community was established.

Matan is a groundbreaking organization that develops programs for business investment in the community, offering companies a diverse toolkit for meaningful social engagement: involving employees and stakeholders in community activities, making optimal use of organizational resources such as donations and volunteering, and investing across a wide range of corporate social responsibility activities.

Jason Arison, Chairman of the Foundation, is a member of Matan's leadership, and the Foundation regularly supports the organization's activities.

For over a decade, the Institute has operated across three tracks: research, teaching and training, and community and field development.
